I have over 30 years of experience handling tax audits and appeals. This experience includes representing clients in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service, the California Franchise Tax Board, the California Board of Equalization and the California Employment Development Department. From this experience, I know when it makes sense to continue fighting at the current administrative level, and when to appeal to the next level. Ultimately, if the case cannot be settled administratively, it may be necessary to litigate the case in court, which I regularly do in appropriate cases.
